I know it sounds like hte holy grail, but has anyone had success with anti-hair loss products for men?

At 41, I'm finally getting thinner on top fairly alarmingly! Don't mind too much, but I like my hair. Very wary of ';wonder products'; and silly supplements, but short of being very tired I'm in good health and very happy. Would like to hang on to it, though! Thanks.I know it sounds like hte holy grail, but has anyone had success with anti-hair loss products for men?
just take vitamins specially for hair skin and nails. I think they are on sale in boots (but may be in the ladies bit) that is the best thing you can do to promote hair growth. Come on, do you really think spraying something on your head will help? It's not grass! lol! Need to get it growing from within. Good luck but dont fret! Girls do like guys with no hair, just dont do the comb over thing! :)I know it sounds like hte holy grail, but has anyone had success with anti-hair loss products for men?
In addition to all the other answers you will get here, check your diet. Good healthy food and excercise can help. You may need multi-vitamins and enzymes, too. Check for Gary Knull's book, ';Power Aging.';
There's a product called Ervamatin. Its a hair lotion you apply twice a day and also can buy their herbal shampoo to use with it. All the ingredients ar natural. Maybe you might want to give it a try, I've read some good reviews about it. goodluck
There is nothing u can do about it so may as well let nature take its course
i know this doesn't answer your question, but as a woman, i don't mind thin hair or baldness. in fact, it's one of the reasons i like older guys! it's hot...
Hey there I think you still have some hope left, there is lots of products on the shelves now days, I would recommend you going to your doctor and letting him or her know what is going on and they can perscribe you a med for it that really works, you can also have surgery depending on how much money you want to spend. but sometimes the meds cause more problems with the insides of your body so I geuss the choice is yours!!
at 41 i must say you,ve had a good run at it, it sounds like you really look after yourself i have heard if you put salt in your shampoo that works if not just be happy you,ve got your health
if you can afford it go for a consultation with a trichologist, they can some times help, it depends if it's hereditary though. you can temporary thicken it with products but they usually wash out. don't try any supplements without a consultation. A trichologist specialises in this dept.
I take a Zinc tablet at night and a Selenium in the morning. Recently I ran out of these supplements and didn't start taking again for about six weeks. My hair grows at a terrific rate, however, during the time I wasn't taking the supplements my hair didn't grow. It might be worth a try, if you are tired something may be lacking in your diet. Generally hair loss is genetic however, thyroid problems can cause tiredness and hair loss.
