How to stop hair loss?

Several weeks ago I notice that I'm loosing some hair every time I brush it. Since then I change the shampoo, and now I'm taking B-complex vitamins in addition to multivitamins (man's formula without iron).

I'm using John Frieda Root Awakening Health Infusing shampoo and conditioner now but I didn't notice any changes in the hair loss precess. I have medium length hair.

Do you have any suggestions on how to stop hair loss? Thanks. How to stop hair loss?
it sounds like you are doing what you can to prevent this. unfortunately noone can stop hair loss. it is usually caused from male/female pattern hair loss, stress, or medical condtions such as low iron or thyroid levels. you can get your blood work done to make sure. if everything is good then it might be stress. stress does cause hair loss. How to stop hair loss?
i know what u saying as i got the same problem before, i even tried natural homemade treatment, washing my hair with chestnuts tea and no results, silly me lol

I tried for free some vitamins for 2 months and start seeing some results, but everybody is different. You can try their free trial for 2 months like i did before buying it.

What to think about:

How successful your treatment is depends on your expectations and the cause of hair loss. Treatment for hair loss caused by an illness, medication, or damage to the hair usually is more successful than treatment for inherited hair loss.

Considerations about inherited hair loss include:

The cost. Medication or surgery to treat hair loss can be expensive and often is not covered by insurance.

Length of treatment. Medications must be taken continuously or the regrown or thickened hair will fall out. Surgery can be lengthy, and in most cases you will need several surgeries to achieve the coverage you want.

Side effects. Long-term effects of some hair loss medications are not known.

Type of treatment. Medications that must be taken continuously can be expensive and can increase the chance of side effects. Surgery, which may be a more permanent solution, is also expensive. In addition, surgery involves risks and the chance that not all hair follicles will remain healthy.

Women with inherited hair loss who wish to take birth control pills should use a pill type that does not add to hair loss, such as a norgestimate or ethynodiol diacetate
Using natural products to help prevent hair loss is cheaper than trying to replace lost hair once it's already gone. Consider the power of these natural ingredients to stave off thinning hair:

Saw Palmetto: This herb is sometimes used to treat enlargement of the prostate. This is because Saw Palmetto blocks the production of DHT (a metabolite of testosterone), a contributing factor to enlarging of the prostate. Because DHT production also causes hair loss, Saw Palmetto has been shown in some small studies to be effective for preventing hair loss in some men. It was first used by the American Indians to treat and maintain healthy hair and skin.

Nettle root: Those little plants with the big sting are good for something after all. Nettle root is another treatment which blocks the production of chemicals which enlarge the prostrate.

They are the same ones that can cause hair loss. Evidence suggests that nettle root may not only stave off baldness, but may actually regenerate hair growth.

Vitamins: Your mother told you they were good for you, but you may not know they're good for your hair too. Vitamin A is an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp.

Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation.

In addition to these ingredients, which help stop hair loss naturally, massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage.

Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three).( but if your head gets wet you will be able to smell it )
