Hair loss & stopped getting my period?

I am a 16 year old girl, and I've gone through an extreme diet (500 calories a day) about a month ago. Now I've resumed eating 2000 calories a day for a month already. Recently, I've noticed excessive hair loss when I shower/comb my hair, and I stopped getting my period for two months!

I was wondering if this is the result of my dieting, and what can I do to stop this? Help please!Hair loss %26amp; stopped getting my period?
You aren't getting enough protein. Eat alot of tuna and grilled chicken and things like that...Hair loss %26amp; stopped getting my period?
yes, the disorder for some young girls and boys that you are describing (eating 500 calories) is called Anorexia Nervosa---the person eats less which makes the body to suffer--hair loss and amenorrhea---no period so as long eat things should get back to normal--you can eat less then 2000 cals unless you are very active, if so eat that amount. but why did you eat 500 cals? most teens do this to look skinny and ';hot'; but it tends to get out of hand--20% of those with this disorder will die.

So clear your head--watch this video--most beautiful you by Johnny Diaz and see how girls your age see themselves; you look fine.

It's definitely a result of your dieting. Your body was not getting the proper nutrition. At 16 you don't need to diet, and no one can survive on a 500 calories a day diet. If you need to lose weight, cut down on your portions. If you use to eat a whole burger, eat half of it or remove the buns. If you eat fried food, stop, and reduce the amount of sweets that you eat. Reducing your calorie intake will make you lose weight.

Be careful about the acai berry. It sounds like the same advertisement that I received a few months ago. They overcharged my credit card. I had to call the credit company to get it removed.
