Anyone knows whats the best way to stop a hair loss??

There's only two drugs clinically tested and FDA approved : Minoxidil (Rogaine and other brands) and Propecia (Proscar, Finasteride, etc.), there are some interesting drugs too like Dutasteride or Follica but there aren't enough studies yet.

If you're into natural stuff, the only one that might be helpful is Saw Palmeto (there are capsules for sale in natural shops) because it contains anti androgens similar to the ones found on Propecia.

Quite frankly all the other stuff are either placebos or scams.Anyone knows whats the best way to stop a hair loss??
Here is my hair loss advice :

Been on minoxidil ( R0gaine庐 ) for about a year and a half and have not seen even the smallest amount of regrowth that i almost fell into depression.

My hair only started visibly growing on the bald spot after skeptically trying out the various natural techniques to re-grow lost hair @ http://www.regrowmyhair.info

I would highly recommend this easy to follow step-by-step guide with pictures to anyone who is suffering from hair loss right now. But remember this isn't a miracle cure for baldness as you will also need to put in some effort in order to see results. And its only a minimum commitment of 15 minutes a day to help re-grow your lost hair.

Anyway, its also a cheaper and effective way of re-growing lost hair compared to those unnatural ways which may involve harsh chemicals that may have side effects.

change your genetics?

It sucks, but no herbal remedies or alleged scientific breakthroughs are going to stop or delay hair loss- it is written in you genes, and the chemical formula and codes which make up you body will cause hair loss no matter how much money you waste on trying to stop it- it's like trying to change your height, or eye colour. Unless you're willing to forego having hairs from other ares of your body implanted into the follicles of your head- ie. plastic surgery, there's nothing you can do.

The people suggesting eggs and coconut oil etc. are simply providing you with ways to improve the condition of your hair while you still have it, but these will not result in any significant reduction to hair loss, nor will they make hair grow.
Depends on what the cause is. If you are a fella and it's just standard male pattern baldness then no amount of hair conditioner, coconut oil, eggs etc will help. There are topical lotions you can apply, which are expensive and many or may not work (such as Rogaine) and tablets (Nourkrin). Google the names and you will see reviews etc.

If you don't think it's due to simple balding, then go see your doctor - it could be anything from a hormone imbalance to stress to dietry deficiencies (such as anaemia).

(and ignore the nasty comments on here - if you're a fella just thank God that David Beckham made it fashionable to shave your head - and women love to run their fingers over short fuzzy head stubble!)
Depends in what situation you are losing it.

if you are not eating properly or are suffering stress related to life you will suffer more hair loss than usual.

Otherwise it is natural and there is little you can do. There are some drugs on the market that can have some effect on some people but they can be expensive and the results are not great.

Just make sure you get plenty of protein in your diet. Avoid fatty foods and butter.
if you have dark hair than you should apply henna paste. it does wonders. also apply eggs in your hair leave it for about 30 mintues before washing it off. do not use any chemicals in your hair. Apply olive oil or castor oil, leave it overnite and wash it off the next day. stop using hot water to wash your hair. that literally pulls the hair out of your scalp. use lukewarm water, not cold but almost. also, before you come out of the shower, run your head under cold water. that will close your pores...this is a start..good luck
For hair loss you can try this remedy. Mix 1 egg, 2.5 tablespoons milk powder and 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil. Massage on the scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo.

make sure you're getting a healthy diet with enought protein, because hair is mostly protein. you should do some coditioning treatments on your hair to keep it from breaking.coconut oil helps regrow hair. also take vitamins
Regular coconut hair oil massages are the best.
